A shocker, such a fresh breath among the webtoons at the time. It's the MC you wish for when you're reading shonen titles. Reading this title is like watching die hard for the first time as a kid.

A shocker, such a fresh breath among the webtoons at the time. It's the MC you wish for when you're reading shonen titles. Reading this title is like watching die hard for the first time as a kid.

Incredibly engaging read, highly recommended.

Drawn beautifully, this nostalgic read that recounts the world of Maplestory is a satisfying read. Although the general pacing was too fast, too curt that made characters feel flatter than they could have been given more time. That alone however would have not let this title down, unlike how the pacing takes an exponential hike into one moment you're midway into the story, and in ten chapters it has tumbled across three story arcs into finishing in a premature finale that does not do justice to the body of the series. With that said, if you've played maplestory and know the story, this will still be a fun time sink.

I did not finish this title as it was ongoing when I was reading, but this was one of the first DAUM webtoons I ever got my hands on as a 12 year old. The world has such a charm you only find in webtoons of that era. The author's interpretation of a fantasy world with these charming characters, is a refreshing read.

Warhammer 40k in webtoon form. Presents a world intringuing and morish. The settings, the characters, the history of the world are all so satisfying to come across. All clad in over-the-top chunky dark fantasy designs.

I know it's not perfect, the early few tens of chapters are a bit of a slog, but it's incredible. You can see the author changing, getting older through the changes this webtoon went through. Slow burn into fireworks, into nukes going off in the sky kind of story you know? (It's also beautifully drawn) Note that the author went and learned mma, went around learned various other combat styles to prepare writing this story, but he enjoyed lifting and mma far more than drawing, hence the hiatus.

Classic in zombie apocalypse genre, as I understand this was the author's webtoon contest submission. Subline performance for an author early in his career. This may be my nostalgia speaking but highly recommended. If it ever gets translated to English.

One of the first slop of the early webtoon generation. Starts interesting and hits a point where you suspect the author is just throwing bullshit to milk the IP, but it was a very popular webtoon in its prime.
